grams farmer's market
at the grand age of 81, my grams still has the greatest green thumb i've ever known. we spent wednesday afternoon scouring her expansive backyard for table ready produce. this is what we picked: 1 fig, 1 apricot, many green beans in 2 varieties, a few heirloom tomatoes, 3 green bell peppers, and 15 blackberries.

two harbors
the view from our campsite. originally, we were at a site up the hill with no ocean view. we decided to move and couldn't have been happier with our decision. we were nestled between 2 awesome couples: gabe-becca & noelle-harold. coffee, cream, breakfast burritos, campfires, toasted marshmallows...
the beautiful couple who brought all of us together. i have known the gorgeous bride, margaux, since 1998 -- good 'ol college days. i have had the pleasure of getting to know vince over the past year. and i couldn't be more thrilled for them as they embark on their collective journey into married life!!

"just live till you die..."
the valley from our saturday morning hike.
the nearby swimming hole.
two types of mulberry trees lined the property. it's hard to describe how they taste: sweet, rich, honey, warmth.
fixings for jessica's frittata magic. fanny made one that was equally delicious the following morning.
these rainbows exposed themselves on the floor in the main living room.
