smoked salmon sarnie

we ran out of tomatoes and everything bagels, but i needed to find a way to eat the norwegian smoked salmon & cream cheese i was craving. i opted for hearty, toasted, sprouted grain bread, added a generous amount of cream cheese, 2 slices of salmon, and fresh basil. the results=delicious!

alyson fox

a small collection, sp/su '08

i first became familiar with the work of alyson fox through her drawings via Little Paper Planes. i was not so surprised to quickly find that she's multi-gifted in many fields including photography, fashion design, styling, visuals, etc. although no longer available, i'm on a serious manhunt for this completely relevant little number shown above. and i am inspired, beyond belief, by the film vignettes that showcase her collections.

i knew everything would be alright...

yesterday, on my way to work at the break of dawn, i knew that the rest of the day was shaping up when i heard Footloose by Kenny Loggins. now, i have to admit, i haven't even seen the entire movie Footloose, and i have never been particularly excited by or moved to boogie upon hearing the theme song, but, something about the song, on this particular morning, made me smile.
